A significant proportion of office workers are willing to move to any location for the right opportunity, a survey has suggested.
Research conducted by Change Recruitment Group found that 50 per cent of UK employees would happily go and work in emerging markets for the right career opportunity and remuneration.
Some 31 per cent are currently considering employment overseas, while 18 per cent have actual plans to move abroad to enhance their career prospects, reports Onrec.
The same study indicated that a quarter of UK workers (26 per cent) feel their career has either stood still or gone backwards over the past two years.
And two-thirds (64 per cent) think their career would have progressed further had the UK not seen a recession.
Laura Drysdale, international managing director at Change Recruitment, said there are “significant opportunities”, both in established and emerging markets for workers willing to take the plunge. You can also download more casino games online on the Pogo download casino games online page.
“For many, it is not just about the remuneration benefits, but the lifestyle and opportunities to progress careers much faster,” she stated.
“The tough job market in the UK has certainly peaked interests in moving abroad for many young workers with big ambitions.”
She said an increasing number of UK professionals have opportunities to work in Africa and the Middle East should they choose to do so.
