Getting About

Access For Businesses & Residents

Many businesses will be affected during the period of the Olympics and Paralympics with restricted access. This will mean deliveries and pick-ups for post, parcels and goods will not be possible at times. More information about the restrictions on access and parking are available here:

Alternative Travel Arrangements

Buses: Many routes near or around The City will be affected by the Olympic Route Network /Paralympic Route Network and subject to change. Extra services will be provided at peak times.

River: There will be an enhanced river service during the games but you will have to book well in advance. Do it now at: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/modalpages/21315.aspx

Cycling: Our centres at Cheapside, Minories, Fleet Street, Watling Street and 1 Royal Exchange are close to TFL Cycle Hire scheme locations. Find a location that works for you: https://web.barclayscyclehire.tfl.gov.uk/maps (We also have our own bike racks available at 150 Minories and F160 Fleet Street.)

Walking: You can plan suitable walking routes using Google Maps. Whilst this isn’t ideal you may be able to plan walking routes from stations that are not affected by the games.
See the stations affected here: http://www.london2012.com/get-involved/business-network/travel-advice-for-business/pdfs/city-leaflet.pdf
